A free day today for everybody including me.
I am determined to have a day off and not do any of the work I have brought with me.
After updating this blog I go for a little walk and then feturn to the hotel.
It is a hot and sunny day and I spend a couple of hours by the pool. So hot that I dive in for a swim forgetting I still have my glasses on. When I surface I can't see anything and realise my glasses must be at the bottom off the pool! Lucky they were still dark from the sun as I found them at the bottom of the pool.
There is also a jacuzzi at the side of the pool and I decided to go and sit in it. There were a couple of young children playing in there so I walked up and stepped in thinking it was very shallow only to find my foot didn't touch the floor and I fell in head first! It made everyone laugh and was a little embarrasing. The children were sat playing on the ledge around the side you sit on!
Went into town at lunch time and despite my best efforts to have a sandwich and water had a pizza and a beer!
Back to the pool afterwards and then a siesta before dinner. What a hard day!
I do feel refreshed and have thouroghly enjoyed my dayoff.
