Am up and down for breakfast just after 08:00 and the weather outside is bright with a bit of sunshine amongst the clouds. The forecast isn't great today but you never know, they can always be wrong.
I wander outside after breakfast and the clouds have blocked out both the sun and the mountains and before I know it it is snowing!
I pop into the shop next to the hotel and buy a new razor and some shampoo and have a chat with the young man on the till who is here every time we come and who always recognises me.
I spend most of the morning in my room catching up with this blog before chancing the weather and going for a walk at lunchtime. It is cold but at least the snow and rain have stopped.
At 14:00 we all meet in the reception area for one of Charly's famed village walks!
We don't actually walk a great distance but Charly is so funny and infectious with his explanations that it is a pure delight to be out with him. We visit two of the village's churches, have a look around somebody's farm building and hear stories of Miss World cows and primitive toilets! He also points out a small flower called Don't Forget Me!!!
The tour lasts for about 2 hours in which time every car that passes or person walking by, Charly has a chat to. He really is a lovely man who is obviously so proud of his village and its' people and history.
We arrive back at the hotel at 16:00 to be served freshly cooked Apple Strudel and coffee by Linda and Patricia. Delicious.
I retire to my room to do some work but actually end up having a siesta. All of this excitement is wearing me out!
I enjoy dinner again sat with John Marshall and Doug and Penny Moffatt.
