A very hot and sticky day today. I am in Windsor and the passengers can enjoy this lovely town as well as a 2 hour cruise with cream tea on the Thames.
Just before the 14:30 cruise I am at the boat handing out small pieces of paper with CT written on them. This is to show the crew that the holder has paid for a cream tea as there is another coach party on board who haven't paid for one.
Some of my passengers are new to me so I have to ask some of them if they are on my coach before handing out the CT papers.
I have exactly 47 pieces of paper and am just about to walk back to the coach after giving out all 47 when two of my passengers appear!
I explain the situation to the crew and between us we try to find the two tickets I have obviously given to somebody from the other group.
The crew man quite clearly asks if any of the Hardings group has a cream tea ticket. All shake their heads. I go around asking those I don't know if they have our tickets. One lady in particular I ask to her face, and I remember asking her on the quayside, if she is on my coach and she replies that she is.
Somebody sat behind then points her out and she has our tickets. As I collect them from her I say that I asked her twice if she was on my coach and she shouted back at me something about not knowing what coach she was on. She came across as a spiteful, nasty lady who deliberately tried to steal a cream tea. I later hear she was a pain throughout the journey by continuosly moaning and talking.
Am pretty pleased she doesn't travel with us!

Nothing like a freebie cream tea!!
Hey, it would be funny if that `nasty` lady reads your blog - you are likely to get a punch on the nose Jamie!
