Calthorpe Tonale Thursday 14 April

A bit cloudy today with the sun trying to breakthrough. Am really up for ski-ing today after yesterday. It is a little icy in places but still very good ski-ing. We have a great morning and ski to midday. That is me finished for the week and I feel really good. Knackered but good! I spend the afternoon in the bar working and am very near to finishing the Autumn Spring holiday brochure. I enjoy a beer upstairs with the boys and girls before meeting Brian for dinner. Tonight is disco night and it seems that all the schools staying here are at the disco. The disco is part of our hotel and is a proper nightclub. Not so sure about the music but then I am getting old! Our group all descend onto the floor at 21:45 and seem to have a great night. It is nice just watching them all enjoying themselves in what is an adult type nightclub. Will is in here and is stood up with his crutches doing his bit. He has a bit of a sideline going helping Anne with her tuck shop and is acting as her runner taking orders from the kids and delivering their purchases to their rooms. He is being tipped quite generously and at the last count was €24 up! It has paid for all of his presents home! What a lovely lad. He is making the most of a terrible injury with a smile on his face. And a few bob in his sky rocket! The disco goes on until 01:00 which is not a bad thing as some of us were just getting in the mood! A few old favourites towards the end of the evening gets the toes tapping and a few dodgy moves are performed!
