I need my alarm to wake me today as I have slept so well on a beautiful comfy bed and the curtains do not let in any light.
Feeling refreshed I enjoy breakfast before meeting with the group at 09:30 as they walk to the Mauritshuis art museum. I have walked with them so I know where to pick them up from later this morning.
At 11:30 I am at the pick-up point and at 12:00 I pick them up!
From here I drive them to the Keukenhof Gardens where they spend 3 hours at this wonderful attraction. I am normally here at the weekend and you will have hundreds of coaches in the coach park. Today there are only a handful and it is very quiet.
Cold and damp as well!
Dropping back at the hotel I once again run the gauntlet of frustrated cyclists some of who vent their anger at me.
There are roadworks nearby and a road is shut which means a lot more traffic and cycles are using this road.
I manage to get the same parking place and have enough time to walk back to the hotel, shower and then walk back to the coach as we are going out this evening.
At 19:00 I pick them all up again and drive the 10 minutes to the seaside resort of Scheveningan. It is lovely here with many hotels, cafes, bars and restaurants especially along the vast promenade.
I treat myself to a fat boys Burger King burger which was lovely!
They are all back by 21:30 and we are soon back at the hotel. I have lost my parking space and leave the coach in a coach bay that says parking is for coaches between 06:00 and 18:00. I am tired and need to be finished driving due to the departure time tomorrow so decide to take a chance leaving it here.
Back at the hotel I ask the reception and they say it is risky leaving it there. I really cannot be arsed to walk all the way back and move it.
