Liss Historical Northumberland Tuesday 17 July 2012

Another long drive today for our journey home.

We are away by 08:30 and it is all motorway today except for our lunch stop where we shall leave the M1 near Deby and have lunch at the Clock Warehouse pub.
The Clock Warehouse is located on the Trent Mersey Canal and is in an idyllic location and plenty big enough to cope with a coach party.
A great stop, not too far off the motorway, that I will keep in mind for future journeys.

I have really enjoyed these five days as it is nice to just be a steerer and not worry about destinations and times.
The places we have visited have been very interesting and a good combination of venues.
I very much look forward to organising a holiday to Northumberland in the future.
