We begin our journey home today.
I am going to drive to the Trossachs and have a lunch stop in Callendar.
The forecast isn’t great so have booked us into the Crieff visitor centre which proves a great stop especially as the rain starts to fall heavily.
From here we shall make our way to Callendar and a couple of the passengers have expressed their concern of being in a town with the wet weather. They ask if I can stop at the woollen mill on the edge of the town. No problem .
I pull into the woollen mill and the majority get off while I take the rest into town.
I drive back to the mill for my lunch and am told it is the wrong mill! I should have stopped at the one down the road!
The weather turns out to be not as bad as expected as we arrive in Shap by 17:00.
Dinner is earlier tonight as England are playing Sweden and I think the staff want to see the game. Suits me!
I watch the game in my room as England edge out winners 3-2.
