Another superb morning’s ski-ing.
For our warm up ski Tommy and I followed John, Patch and
Isaac up the long chairlift where there is a nice blue run to the left. They
turned right at the top and for some unknown we followed! The red they went
down was steep so we carried along a bit to the next slope which was also a red
and once we had started our descent realised it was steeper than the other
runs! Also very icy! We made it down but not the easiest way to start the day!
Sadly at lunch we say goodbye to John and Patch as they
go home today.
After lunch it is a quick kip before working the rest of
the afternoon.
After dinner tonight there is night ski-ing on the gentle
blue run opposite the hotel and Paul is taking those who want to go at 19:45.
All but two of the children go but I’m not interested.
I do walk up with Jo and Immy to watch and there is a
lovely atmosphere although it is a tad foggy at the bottom. Watching them queue
for the chairlift looks like something out of Close Encounters!
A quick drink afterwards and then it is bed.
