A free day for everyone today and after the lovely
weather all week we now have a day where it looks like it will rain all day.
Bum!
I work in the hotel all morning before going for a walk
in the rain. The pathway alongside the lake into town is wonderful and even on
a damp, cold day is still beautiful and a pleasure to walk along. Not many folk
about though!
When I put some pictures of Riva with this blog I will
use the snaps taken on a better day!
Once in town I meet up with Dot and Nicola for lunch in a
pizzeria. Nicola hasn’t been too well this week so sticks with a small pasta
while Dot and I enjoy a fine pizza and a couple of beers. Dot has a small beer
which comes in a small glass and looks like a child’s drink!
After and enjoyable lunch we walk back to the hotel and I
have a much needed siesta.
Before dinner I do a little more work and also load a
couple of cases ready for tomorrow’s departure. After dinner I load a couple
more which will make the morning
