We depart the hotel at 08:30 for our excursion to Porec and Rovinj.
I stop for fuel before arriving in Porec at 10:15 on what is another very hot day. I can drop off and park in the bus station which is a short walk from the sea and town centre.
I go for a quick stroll through the town, where I buy a paper and enjoy a coffee, before returning to the coach to wash it. Everywhere you seem to go there is dust and the coach needs a clean.
I should have brought along shorts and a t-shirt as it is so hot and I am going to sweat.
The coach comes up looking good which is more than can be said of its driver! I am drenched in sweat and there is no escaping the heat until I can run the engine.
I haven't been wearing my hat and now have a headache.
We leave here at 12:45 and arrive in Rovinj 40 minutes later. I drop off by the town and drive back to the coach park.
I walk to the nearest restaurant for a nice lunch sat in the shade before going back to the coach.
Doing a couple of small jobs starts me off again and I start feeling very hot and sweaty and my headache returns. There is no breeze so no escaping the sun. I am suffering for not wearing my hat earlier.
We leave Rovinj at 16:00 and arrive back at the hotel just after five.
Everybody has enjoyed today and the two towns we have visited, Porec and Rovinj, have impressed everbody.
The more I see of Croatia the more impressed I am.
I finish cleaning the inside of the coach at the coach park and once again start sweating up!
Am back in my room at 18:00 and the next thing I know it is 19:30! That sun is doing me in!
Because of a function in the hotel dinner will finish at 20:30 instead of 22:00 this eveining.
I have a proof of our next day brochure to read so take myself off to a quiet bar and read over a couple of beers.
My dinner is a pizza!
