Friday 25th September Nauders

A free day today but we have offered to take the coach to the cable car if anyone wanted to go up the mountain and about half the group take up our offer. I told them that I will come back at midday if anyone wants a ride back. If they are not there then I will take it they have walked back.
I go back to the hotel to do some work before taking the coach back to the cable car. Nobody is there at twelve so I drive back empty.
I have to fly home today which is something I don't really want to do or like doing. We have a tour going to the Rhine for a cruise on Sunday and I was hoping somebody could drive the coach to Calais or Lille and meet with the coach coming back from Nauders. I could then swap coaches along with two of our passengers who are also doing both trips. It was proving difficult getting a driver so the day before we came away I decided to fly home today and then drive out again on Sunday.
It is always sad to leave Nauders and even more so a day early.
At 14:00 Charly gave me a lift to Landeck, the main town of the area and home to the railway line to Zurich where I am flying from.
My train is due at 15:26 and I am the only one on the entire platform of this large station!
The train arrives on time for a beautiful journey through Austria and into Switzerland and arrives bang on time in Zurich at 18:20.
Another short train ride and I am at the airport with time to spare before my flight to Gatwick at 20:10
I have booked a taxi from Gatwick and arrive home at 22:15.
Kim sent me a text with a picture attached of my empty bar stool in the hotel saying "miss you!"
Very funny.
