We start our journey home today so not a lot to write about.
We are away by 08:10 and leave to a beautiful day which lasts all the way to the outskirts of Metz.
The drive alongside the lake to Locarno was quieter than the drive down and very pretty with the sun reflecting off the water framed by the mountains behind.
The ride through Switzerland was out of this world, the motorway between Lucerne and the Italian border at Chiasso must be one of Europe's finest.
We arrive in Metz at 17:30 to be met by rain. We are once again staying in the Mercure Metz Centre and the dinner tonight was excellent with good food that was very well presented and served.
