Calthorpe Tonale Monday 11 April 2011

Am up at 07:30 and down for breakfast at 08:00. Have had mornings where I have felt better and less tired but then I am not alone! We are once again ski-ing at 09:00 and today there is the five of us - Paul, myself, Tommy, Anne and Howard. It is surprising how the sun and snow wake you up and I enjoy a couple of hours ski-ing the runs we did yesterday. We are back a little early so Brian and I take on Howard and Anne at table football. We are the blues (obviously) and they are the reds. Anne is a great Manchester United supporter so with the big game coming up tomorrow a bit of tension is in the air!! Come on you blues! During the third game Anne receives a phone call informing her that one of the boys, Will Jones, has broken his leg and is at the medical centre. Will is taken from the medical room to the hospital accompanied by Anne and Howard and once again I have offered the services of the coach to pick them up. I have an hours kip after lunch before receiving a call from Howard to pick them up. It is another sunny day and another lovely drive to Cles and the hospital. I pick them up at about 16:30 and poor Will is in plaster the whole length of his leg. He is wheeled out to the coach and rather gingerly makes it up the steps with Howards help. What is it with these Jones boys? There is one other Jones on the trip and that is Brian! We shall have to be very careful with him! Another lovely drive back. An early night for me tonight.
