Rosscarbery Ireland Friday 07 June 2013

Sadly we depart Rosscarbery this morning and I think everyone would like another couple of nights.
The Celtic Ross Hotel is a super place to stay. The service, rooms and food are all fantastic while the location is gorgeous especially with the weather we have been having. It might not be quite the same in wet, cold weather but it is still a hotel I would happily return to and I’m glad I made the choice to stay here over a year ago.
Once again it is a lovely sunny morning as I load the cases at 08:00 ready for our departure at 09;00. The porter has brought all of the main cases out to the coach and when I walk out just before eight they are all there waiting to be loaded. Even the porters are fantastic here!
As I’m loading I have a young lady trying to help but she isn’t a lot of use as she has been up all night drinking with a couple of others from the wedding and is slaughtered! Good effort though!
It doesn’t take long to load the cases once my helper has wandered off and I then enjoy my breakfast.
We have our group photo before leaving for Blarney and its famous Castle, about an hour and a half away.
When we arrive at Blarney I once again bump into Robin and Kath who are already here and spend a very pleasant couple of hours in their company. It is always nice to catch up and chat about old times as well as what is going on now.
We are both away from here at 13:00 with Robin going all the way to Waterford and then back to their hotel in Dungarvan while we have a coffee stop at a garden centre before arriving in Wexford at 16:30. We are once again staying at the excellent Talbot Hotel.

Dinner is at seven but I decide to eat in the bar again where I have a super steak and a couple of pints of the black gold!
