Rosscarbery Ireland Saturday 08 June 2013

An early breakfast at 06:45 before we leave the hotel at 07:30 for the short journey to Rosslare and our 08:45 sailing back to Pembroke.
It is another lovely sunny morning as we are loaded onto the Isle of Innishmore, the large Irish Ferry that dwarfs the Stena one alongside. Robin and Kath are on the other ferry that sails to Fishguard.
The boat leaves on time and we are due in Pembroke at 12:45. I once again have a cabin but just rest as not so tired that I need to sleep and take the chance to read my book, a luxury at the moment!
The crossing is very calm with sun all the way so I find it hard to understand why we are ten minutes late docking in Pembroke!
It can take ages to disembark the ferry as coaches are usually left until last to unload but today all the passengers are back and we are beckoned forward after the first row of cars are off. Result!
After the first hour it is back on the M4 and then motorway all the way to Newbury before half an hour on the A34 dual carriageway and then the last half hour across country on the pretty A272.
It is very hot today and the coach is struggling a bit as I have a problem with the air conditioning which is being sorted out tomorrow, though that is not a lot of good for us today!
We make good time and after a couple of stops arrive back in Petersfield at 18:40 and then Liphook at 19:00.
I have really enjoyed this tour and I hope the passengers have as well. I always enjoy coming to Ireland and having sunny weather only enhances everything, especially in Rosscarbery which is a little out of the way but is a wonderful place to stay on a sunny day.
The hotel has been superb from the  excellent attentive staff to the lovely rooms to the fantastic food.

I will definitely be back!
