A free day today and another very hot day.
Everybody has there own ideas for the day so I take myself off to the town and the old harbour for a stroll.
Finding the bus station I catch a bus to the Secret Wartime Tunnels. These were built during the German occupation and were to be used as a hospital. They tell the story of the German occupation which is very interesting and well done.
I am glad I made the effort to come out and see them.
Returning to the town I have some lunch and wait for 15:00 when I can pop in and see Joyce. I don't stay long but hope she is reassured by seeing a familier face. Audrey is very good and visits often.
Meanwhile in Wales Brian has been booked out of the hotel because the hotel has overbooked. He will be out for two nights but says the accomodation he has is very nice.
