Another free day - I feel a little lost not having the coach with me and everybody is happy doing their own thing again today so off I go on my own again.
I walk down to the harbour and catch the little tourist train around the bay to St Aubin's which is about three miles away.
This is a very pretty little village whre I enjoy a coffee before walking back to St Helier.
The walk is all along a great curve of a promenade with miles of beautiful sandy beaches and hardly anybody on them. It is very hot and sunny and I'm surprised by the lack of people. They are probably all shopping in St Helier!
I arrive back in St Helier at lunch time and ready for a drink and something to eat. I return to the cafe I used yesterday which is very good and close to the hospital.
After lunch I go to see Joyce but she is asleep when I arrive so I leave her in peace.
We have been told that she will probably be sent home on Thursday, the day after we return.
Brian now has a room in the hotel!
