Friday 23 July Bruhl

Sadly we bid a fond farewell to Goslar and begin our journey home. I load the cases at 08:00 and we depart at 09:00.
The journey this morning is easy with little traffic and we make a coffee and fuel stop when we are past Kassel.
For our lunch stop today I am going to the Mohne Dam, made famous by the Dambusters and their bouncing bomb in the second World War. It is a magnificent structure and well worth the visit. I haven't been here before and am very pleased we have come today. And there is more convenient and free coach parking.
The traffic to Bruhl from here is very busy and we lose about an hour but still arrive by 17:00.
The hotel is very quiet and we can eat individually at what time we want. This is so relaxing to be able to come down at your leisure even though everyone is down together by seven!
