I have asked for all the cases to be left outside of rooms or brought downstairs for 07:00 when breakfast starts.
The plan is for the cases to be loaded at the hotel at 07:45 and brought to me at the coach waiting area. I will have a sharp breakfast at seven and the smartly walk to the coach and drive to the pick-up area.
Breakfast is great and Japanese free this morning so plenty for everyone! I had the most delicious scrambled eggs that were a brilliant yellow in colour.
As I finish breakfast the hotel man has loaded most of our cases so I cadge a lift to the coach park and load all the cases there, which is a lot easier than plan A. They have done this before!
Everybody has walked to the coach area and I am away on time at 08:15. As on the way down I have a choice of ways to go but decide on the same way as we came. The reason for this is that we can stop at the border and spend any unwanted Czech Krona in the tax free shop there.
As I’m parking I have to reverse and manoeuvre past a badly parked car and as I’m doing this I catch a no entry sign on the offside rear window. It makes the sign bend and wobble and puts a mark in my window. I am gutted as this is the third little mishap I have had this week. What a plank!
Once back on the motorway I have to contend with what seems like thousands of lorries but the roads are quieter than I expected. Lunch is in a service area opposite to where we stopped on the way down and being so quiet was very relaxing.
Near to Heilbronn there is a hold up due to an accident (I think) and the sat nav has me going on another diversion! Not as pretty this time but with the same result of missing the jam.
We reach the hotel at 17:45 and dinner is not until 19:30.
The journey today has been easier than expected and we have driven 1km more than the way down!
Dinner tonight is the buffet we should have had on the way down and is very good.

You definitely need to go to Specsavers!!!
Well, they say things happen in
3`s - you have proved it!
Or is it that you have other things on your mind and not concentrating on the job in hand.
