A nice gentle day today. We are met at the hotel by our guide (forgotten her name!) and begin an interesting tour of the city. Bristol is a great place with many attractions as well as fantastic shopping and we are shown all that it has to offer.
I really enjoy the tour and see parts of the city I never knew about. We saw the famous SS Great Britain, the Cathedral, Temple Meads Station, the Clifton Suspension Bridge and probably most famous of all the bar where Delboy fell over!!
Our tour finishes at lunchtime and I drop most of the group in the centre close to the old town and river, and then take the rest back to the hotel. I will come back down later in the afternoon to pick up whoever wants a lift back.
I decide to go out for dinner tonight to see what Bristol has to offer. The nearby Cobot Circus shopping centre has a cinema and lots of restaurants. The trouble tonight is they are all full!
There is a good atmosphere about the place and I end up in a steak house around the corner that was a lot quieter.
